- then something is really wrong. The idea of disabling call waiting is
- that it won't interrupt your modem conversation. Has the phone
- company looked into this, or did you mis-state your question?

- The only thing you can do is disable call waiting. If you leave it
- enabled you're going to continually have trouble with it corrupting
- your modem connection. Exceptions to this are rare and certanly not
- the rule.
